The Future of this Blog

Welcome to my blog. I thought it fitting for the first post to discuss my vision for the future of this blog. So let me briefly introduce myself. My name is Youssef, it's the Arabic translation for the name Joseph but I'll get into that in the next post. I'm what some might consider to be nerd. I love TV, movies, video games, TECH, the stock market and a host of random spinoff interests that have shifted over the years from 3D printing to laser cutting to drones to VR etc. I'm also a filmmaker, there's nothing like framing up the perfect shot, whether that's for a campaign video to bring giant Tar Heel footprints to the roads of Chapel Hill or working on a Kingsman-inspired action-sequence, I love being behind the lens.

I say all this to say that my interests are varied but all seem to linger around the tech and entertainment fields. I'm thinking about coining the term "techtertainment," but I'm still on the fence about that. Anyway, I envision some weeks I will be submitting entries to this blog, some weeks I will be submitting a podcast and maybe some vlogs in the mix. Basically what I'm saying is that the future of this blog is uncertain, but that's the beauty of it. I'm of the belief that everyone has something to say, to add the grand conversation, and this blog will be my way of contributing.

Oh, I forgot to mention, quick factoid, I am a huge fan of Apple, love the products, love the message and love their ads.
